She seemed to have settled more into acceptance of the hand she’d been dealt with her Impression. It would be hard to forget how disappointed she had been initially, but her bond with Tiath seemed healthy, and the fact she was able to maturely deal with the conflict of her mate’s goals was encouraging. It probably didn’t hurt that Tiath seemed to be much more grounded, balancing out her rider.
Erebuth had chattered away to the green, but dozed off as the visit went on, lulled by the flickering of the lantern and the afternoon sun. B’kit felt him drift off to sleep and relaxed minutely; barely aware he’d done so. The blue had been restless the past few evenings, so a nap might do him some good.
