Well, shit. He knew he forgot something important about K'dar. He had figured out, or assumed without confirmation, that he was Mylorah's older brother but he had been preoccupied at the time and it slipped his mind. "I didn't mean she was doing that, only stating that it was another option that you could go with." How did one calm down an angry brother? He had somehow managed to avoid such confrontations in the past--probably because he was usually more aware of what he was doing and with whom.
Thankfully Tiberuth seemed to know a way and Yfris watched with fascination as K'dar reacted like he had just been thrown into the ocean. Honestly, Yfris thought the dragon was going to do that to him when he first moved and panic may have struck him before Tiberuth dunked himself. What did one get a dragon for a gift of gratitude?
"I do apologize, K'dar. I meant no slight on your sister. She's a wonderful person and quite close to a friend of mine. She's been the reason a lot of our preconceived notions have been changed. And now that I'm betrothed to a goldrider, I have a feeling I will be learning a lot more in other areas."
