We should go for a swim. Then perhaps sun on my ledge for a bit. Standing and stretching, a bit like a feline arching its back, Kyrionth yawned and snapped his wings before taking flight, waiting only a moment for the green to follow.
She’d noticed. T’pel froze for a moment while his brain scolded him. Of course she did. Now she’d think he was coming on to her, which, while she was pretty, he had just met her, so that wasn’t his intention, and she probably thought he was he was either a jerk or a hopeless—She squeezed his arm and he forced himself to meet her eyes. She was smiling. And laughing, but not at him. Guess it wasn’t such a big slip, after all. No expectations…
T’pel nodded to himself when Ky mentioned something about going for a swim. It seemed a bit cold, but his brown never really cared too much about that anyway. Didn’t matter how chilly it was. He felt the gentle confidence of Kyrionth once more, and with a calming breath, allowed himself to relax as Kestra had suggested. With a slight smile of his own, he nudged her in a gesture of thanks. “It is beautiful.”
