“Yeah!” T’pel’s smile widened in relief when it was confirmed he remembered her name correctly. “Yes, Ky’s doing well. He likes the view from our ledge, I guess. Which is good.”
He searched his memory for her dragon’s name, blanking momentarily. Tizalth. his dragon offered, ever helpful. “How’s Tizalth taking the change?”
He glanced around and saw a table by the entrance to the bowl that was unoccupied and nodded his head in that direction in question, hands otherwise occupied with his mug and grabbing a roll from the bowl on the table.
“Shards, it’s nice to see a familiar face. I like the newness, but I was beginning to wonder if I was the only Istan who’d moved…”
I’m glad she came. I like her music. T’pel furrowed his brow as his dragon’s words jogged a memory, one of gitar and light singing drifting across the bowl. That was her?Yes. She’s quite good. Please, tell her I said so.
Laughing somewhat and clearing his throat, he passed on the brown’s compliments. “Ky says he likes your music.”
