Malvayth was still mulling over the options when a kitchen worker stepped out through the entrance they'd been watching so closely. Mal froze, even held her breath, but that did not stop the woman from turning around and jumping in shock as she saw the giant black beast looming in the shadows. She screamed and Mal cringed.
She kicked up some dirt in her haste to turn around before she scrambled off to find another shadowy spot to hide in, ducking her head down low and flattening herself out as much as she could. If she was low they couldn't find her. Maybe. There was a flurry of activity back where the woman was still screaming and though Mal felt terrible for spooking her, she couldn't help but also feel like they had been very, very successful with the disguise.
