Yes! Twins! It was just one more thing that would surely impress Cazan. She would be a beautiful and not shiny black dragon twin for her brother and they would be sneak thief heroes stealing cake to share with their other friends, or maybe just to share with anyone who didn't have their own cake. Maybe she could convince someone to help her slice the cake so she could save a piece for Cazan too for when she was back from her adventure.
She watched her brother nosing about the jugs and then immediately brightened when he presented his idea. Oh that is a good idea! You are the best and brightest brother. She studied her wallow, and considered. There was enough room to curl up in, but not much more than that so having her brother paint her with ink would be awkward at best. We would have more room on the ledge, but could we be as sneaky out there? We would have to be careful so that no one sees us putting on the disguise. That would ruin the point, obviously. You could see someone before a disguise, and after, but not while putting it on.
Mal helped carefully move the jugs back out to the ledge. Just be careful, it tastes bitter and not at all good. Once they had everything out she laid down, flattening herself out as best she could in her best sunbathing pose. Okay I think I'm ready! Tell me when I need to move. And because she trusted her brother to do a good job, and didn't want to get any of the bitterness into her eyes (it would probably sting) she closed them.
