All the carving, cutting, even the star I did myself. I enjoy inlaying stone and wood, there's something good about achieving that seamless look."
She handed the flask back and let him get a feel for the balanced weight of the guitar and how the belly of it filled out the space between the arms for a more natural, less tiring cradling of the instrument. Her lips curved a little.
"It may be a bit non-standard but it produces excellent sound. Clear, crisp, perfect for performances. And thank you, I'm right pleased with it. Not everything I make is that complicated but the special ones are always memorable."
