Mylorah pouted as Kor'is stepped back and then practically ran away with his brisk pace as the super adorable Taith trotted along beside him. She already loved that dragon and knew he would be good for her friend--even if said friend didn't seem to want to believe it at the moment. Maybe Taith would get him to open up some more and share stories instead of teasing her like he had just done.
But Tazikel was far more open and Mylorah spun to her other companion and smiled sweetly at him. "You are definitely going to tell me the details to that story, but later. First, I want to know why the two of you were so weird." Yes she had been pretty distracted by Taith and some of the other hatchlings circling near by but she had still been listening to the conversation and had seen the way both men had been right from the get go.
She had initially put it off to Tazikel not knowing how to interact with a dragon, especially since as far as she knew, Syrendryth was the only one --other than Thallyath now who wasn't much better-- he really interacted with and that dragon rarely spoke to anyone other than T'ryn. But the interactions between the boys seemed off and she had caught a couple of glimpses or panic in eyes that were most definitely not normal.
Had something happened in the past week that she wasn't aware of? She hoped not! She'd feel terrible for bringing Tazikel along to greet Kor'is. What if he'd only gone along to humour her and didn't want to mention there had been a falling out? "Everything okay with you two? You're still friends, right?" Mylorah worried her lower lip as she searched his face for an answer. Tazikel really wasn't that great at hiding his feelings but she was worried now he might try.
