Grith squealed as she received Larrikith's proposed idea, it was brilliant! Swooping close to the fellow Green she projected the image through to Oruth, so their little sister would understand what was about to happen and wouldn't freak out. Oruth was excited at the idea and prepared herself for it. Ready? Now! She clamped her wings shut as she spoke. As soon as she felt Oruth jumping from her back she winked between, reappearing to the side of Larrikith in time to see the baby Green landing on Larrikith's back. She bugled excitedly, it had worked! Of course... it was always going to work, but seeing the manoeuvre be pulled off successfully was thrilling.
Diving beneath the pair she spiralled and twisted, pulling off tiny and rapid moves fuelled by her hyperactivity. She swooped down low, sending buffets of air over the six walking below before ascending up again to dart around Larrikith.
Beneath them Par'a laughed at their dragons' antics, there was no point in attempting to discourage them. Well, Larrikith perhaps, but Grith was barely controllable at the best of times. Hearing B'jin's question she laughed. "Are you toying with me or have you really been out of the loop lately?" She asked, unbelieving that B'jin could be so ostracised from the circle of gossip that she was so involved in.
Glancing around she noticed Jada was the closest of the four Weyrlings and seemed quite put out. She gave a quick wink to Erisi but otherwise ignored his distasteful expression he had directed at her, slipping away from B'jin for a moment and guiding herself over to Jada.
"What on Pern causes a Goldrider to be later? Pushing the boundaries, are we?" Par'a asked slyly, giving Jada a quick slap to her butt as she did so. She knew Jada was a prude and with a two month old dragon, any sane Weyrling would be avoiding even hand holding with those they were attracted to at this stage. While she had only seen G'rem in a Weyrling Master capacity at Katila, it didn't take her long to know that he meant business when it came to the new dragons. Even she wouldn't have dared to step out of line if she had been in his class. Then again, Par'a had been the perfect image of a Weyrling.... of course.
She gave Jada a broad wink and slipped back over to B'jin, relinking their arms smoothly. "Now... where were we? Ah yes, gossip. Well I managed to catch I'shan! I'm sure you heard that. He didn't quite like that when he came to... Though he does have extraordinarily nice shirts. You should ask him where he gets them from! They're so soft and hug all the right places." She giggled, casting her mind back to the week she had quite happily worn his shirt out and about after Grith's flight. She had received numerous filthy looks from N'gelt but she didn't care for them, it was I'shan squirming as she chatted casually with him that she adored. Of course, when it had gotten too much she had quickly handed the shirt back, though not before she made sure it was laden with her feminine scent.
"Now there's my juicy piece, where's yours?" She smirked. She didn't need to ask, she knew exactly what, or more, who, B'jin had been up to. Still, it was always more entertaining to get the words straight from the source.
