"Well I won't let her do that to you then. I'll just have to bribe her with... pants or something along those lines." Though if he did become Weyrleader he might be able to get her that private bathroom.. she smiled and shook her head at the thought. She'd teased him more than enough already, she didn't need to try to needle him about a bathroom.
Cazan dismissed the silly daydreaming to refocus on the current conversation. "Maybe one day. Though as far as habits go, eating with you sounds fun." And oddly enough it did sound like it could potentially be fun to just relax and eat with the man. Maybe T'ryn's presence would make it easier to ignore the ever present urge to keep herself busy and distracted. Cazelarias might even be proud of her, she thought. Here she was making plans on purpose to socialize without even thinking about the business potential.
She gave one final wave as he left, calling out, "If you give me enough notice I'll make sure to have things cleaned up enough that we can use the bench as a proper table." And then she closed the door and rubbed her face in her hands as she let out an exasperated sigh. She still couldn't believe what had happened, and with no one she could tell (she definitely couldn't tell her brother) she grabbed her notebook and scribbled a small journal entry of the incident hidden between some boring measurements where no one would bother to look. Maybe with it out of her head and committed to paper her mind would be able to let go of it and she'd have normal dreams when she fell asleep.
