Tala laughed at Helyna’s theft of the fruit, shooting her a grin as she helped Ryvala down off her stool when the girl shrieked in excitement at Vondlyn’s presence. She let Ryvala rush off to her friend and start talking excitedly at him - she was almost a full turn older than Vondlyn, and could talk circles around him, but neither seemed to mind much, especially not when there were dragons around for added entertainment. Tala watched them for a moment before turning back to Helyna and giving her an amused look.
“I suppose breakfast must be finished, since you just had the last fruit slice,” she teased, not at all bothered by it. There were still bread and things, and neither she nor Ryvala had been eating anymore by the time Iliyith showed up on their ledge. “Vala’s certainly done with the meal,” Tala noted, as Ryvala and Vondlyn both clambered around Niath, who put up with it good naturedly. Did Tala ever luck out with Niath, since the big green girl - and wow, had she bulked up as she neared adulthood! - seemed to have an endless tolerance for children. Made her life easier, certainly, since Niath was perfectly happy to babysit (At least in so far as a dragon can keep an eye on a human child).
“Now, Lyna, sit, Niath will watch them, and we can have our own fun,” Tala said cheerfully, gesturing to one of the adult sized chairs Tala kept for guests.
