He stopped cold as he first comment, trying to decide if she was flirting or being a brat. He quickly leaned towards the latter. "If you want to, go ahead," he said coolly. "It's just like a woman to deny a courtesy out of principle." He remembered how A'lira hated having doors held for her and the like, yet at the same time wanted to be respected as a 'lady'. He felt immense pressure from Tyrrisath, a steady reminder not to lose his balance. He stayed his hand for a couple moments, teetering just on the edge of an outburst.
"Put your hands on the wall," he ordered, knuckles already growing white. Then, after a moment for consideration, his arm snapped forward in a sudden warning blow.
