Curse this gorgeous and charming Lord! Mylorah pouted as he ended the kiss and walked to the door but she didn't stay annoyed with him for long as she took the offered arm and smiled at him. He was quite possibly a bigger tease than she was! She was disappointed he didn't want to stay in the room, especially after that kiss, but there would be plenty of time to tease him back on their tour and see where it left them.
"Well, to start off, that was more or less what Candidates live in though some are larger with more beds and we use the communal baths down the hall." She didn't take him down to see those since it felt like people were always in them. It was why she usually wandered off to one of the further away ones even though she was likely to still find someone there.
She led them across the Bowl, pointing out various entrances or ledges that she didn't really expect Tazikel to remember since he didn't have a need to. She did, however, detour them to the weyrling dorms to give him a quick peek inside since she saw the young class outside doing a lesson. "This is where the newly Impressed usually go after a Hatching." On their way out, Mylorah had overheard other Candidates talking about how the three that just Impressed would be getting a special weyr to help keep them isolated and monitored. That was both a good thing and a scary thing because yay for keeping everyone safe and alive but she hated that it was needed. She didn't call attention to it at the time and still really didn't now, since that would require her giving in to her emotions on the whole ordeal and Mylorah wanted to stay positive and show her guest a good time. "They stay here for several months until the dragons are too big and prove they can handle living on their own. Then they get their own weyr."
She let Tazikel look around a moment longer before taking his arm again and returning them to their trek across the Weyr to the corral with the plateau and bay beyond it. She had suggested the bay, but they likely wouldn't go down there, unless Tazikel wanted to sneak away for a bit and she was totally okay with that. She loved spending time with him and knew they could spend the day talking and she wouldn't get bored--it likely helped that they had completely different upbringings with a lot to share.
"So first up, Ista is the only Weyr that doesn't have its own lake because of the missing wall here that leads to the bay, so that's kind of cool. And this is where the dragons will usually hunt and our livestock live here as well, though I'm not sure what counts as what. I'm sure they're penned off differently but the closest I've come to all of this, other than standing at the fence, is when I help churn the butter." Mylorah flexed to show off her biceps, which she thought were kind of impressive but still laughed as well. She wasn't nearly as strong or buff as a dragonrider.
"And the few horses we keep for errands in the Hold." She still wasn't sure why people would want or use a horse with dragons around but she kind of saw the logic in a horse and wagon being stocked up instead of constant trips with smaller loads on a dragon. Kind of. Horses still kind of freaked her out as well and she proved it when one came over to them and she squeaked and jumped back. She couldn't deny that they were beautiful animals and there was an intelligence in their eyes but they didn't talk to her or anyone else. How did anyone know what they needed? What was on their mind? It boggled her mind and made her a bit wary of them.
