Misha leaned into the hug with a soft sigh, suddenly feeling as if he could fall asleep then and there. The wonders of hugs, he thought, though really he shouldn’t fall asleep right when C’dhin showed up. That would be rude, and as tired as he was Sh’ran wanted to reassure his friend he was okay. “I’m happy too,” he said, smiling even though C’dhin probably couldn’t see it from how they were sitting. He really was happy, and he refused to let worry about Dyoricath and his clutchmates’ health keep that from him.
“This is Dyoricath,” he said, running his hand along the back of the dragonet’s neck, fingers bumping over the ridges as well as the parts where Dyoricath’s spine stood out against his skin far too much. “He named me Sh’ran.” Which was definitely going to take some getting used to, but he liked it. He was going to miss the ‘M’ but he was still Misha and people had better still call him that. If Mylo stopped calling him Mimi he may cry, but he doubted that would happen. She was eternally Mymy to him, and he felt it was the same for her.
“And if he’s up for it when he wakes up, we’ll all go visit Coroth,” Sh’ran said as rested his head back against C’dhin trying very hard not to close his eyes. He didn’t think he’d stay awake if they shut for more than a heartbeat. Hopefully this period of constant vigilance didn’t last too long, it was terrible. Still totally worth it for Dyoricath.
