Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Of course F'drel knew who he was. Z'rin was pretty sure everyone knew who he was, even if that meant only as the bluerider mated to bronzerider N'mor. He wasn't a huge fan of labels but never cared if he had been given any since he'd just go along with the joke--it was always easier that way than to risk being utterly ostracizedfor making a big deal out of it. But if the label hurt someone else, in this case N'mor, Z'rin knew he'd have to say something. So far it didn't seem like anyone overly cared about their relationship; at least from what he had seen. If N'mor had had any confrontations, he had yet to say anything about them, which led Z'rin to believe everything was fine since they had been opening up and sharing more about themselves since the big move in day.
Wait, he was getting distracted and had a greenrider studying him. Z'rin resisted the urge to wipe a hand over his face, wondering if something was on it. Maybe F'drel was just waiting to see what would happen next. Was he expecting to be jumped, hoping to be jumped, or hoping the intruder would leave already? Z'rin frowned at his own questions and hated that he was lumped in with the men that were more aggressive and took what they wanted, even when the dragon was no longer in control. So, naturally, his way of dealing with that was to try and avoid the subject all together which led to babbling. "Sorry if you have someone that normally wins or someone else in mind. Varralath doesn't chase that often and we usually win even less so I'm not even sure what proper protocol is right now."
Z'rin clamped his mouth shut as he sat up to look around the room. There wasn't much to see and that included the clothes trail. As he stared at the pair of pants he knew were his, Z'rin recalled N'mor laughing from his warm spot in bed, ordering him to put some clothes on before he went running down the halls nude. He was pretty sure there was some sort of comment about not just anyone got to see his mate naked, but by that point, Z'rin barely had enough focus to pull on pants. Shoes hadn't even been a priority before he was off and part of the chase.
"This was the first time he's even chased in Ista. No, wait. Second time. There was one last turn..." Z'rin frowned as he tried to figure out what was poking him at the back of his mind. Of course! How could he forget? He blamed the Flight for making him forget the other Flight. Varralath had entered a Flight when they had just popped in to Ista to visit N'mor. They had lost, thankfully, because he wasn't sure if they'd still be dancing around the sexual tension that had been building between them or not without that bit of Flight lust floating through his veins.
It was Halomirth then as well. Varralath had picked up on his rider's thoughts and helped piece the rest of it together by digging a bit deeper for the details. Z'rin suddenly laughed and turned a large smile on F'drel and somehow resisted giving the man a hug or kiss in thanks--given their current position, it would likely come across as something more.
"It was your Flight then as well! We lost, obviously, but you kind of played matchmaker in such a way that Mylorah would be proud," he hadn't known the girl too well, even before when he was casually seeing N'mor, but since moving to Ista, she made it her business to know about her friend's mate and include him in group activities. "I don't think I'd be with N'mor without that Flight. So, thanks?" He was suddenly very aware how awkward his nonstop chatter was becoming and glanced away, chiding himself even as he felt the blush warming his cheeks.
