Talian waited patiently for B'jin to arrange himself on the grass before replying. The healer thought about B'jin's innocent and vague words, trying to find the meaning buried just beneath them. Talian assumed there was meaning to everything, and while he was apt to take peoples' words quite literally, he also knew when something was off about his father's words.
"I was just playing with you," Tal said gently. He reached forward and gently worked his fingers into B'jin's shoulders. The healer hummed to himself for a moment, content enough to let the silence wrap around them as he thought over the situation and started really working on B'jin's back. Perhaps if the greenrider loosened up a bit, he'd be more willing to talk.
Tal had always excelled at the 'silent companionship' game. He was a good listener and rarely spoke without putting some thought into it. While reclusive and quiet, he felt like now would be a good time to show B'jin that in his silence, he was always paying close attention. He continued his soft humming while carefully kneading B'jin's strained flesh with his fingers for some time before finally spekaing.
"B'jin, you've listened to me complain an awful lot. And you're the only person here other than my fellow northerners who hasn't responded with 'well, get over it'. You do realize you're more than welcome to tell me about your problems too, right?" He smiled, even though he knew B'jin couldn't see his face. "...I can tell when something's off with you. And you've been shedding little clues all day."
He didn't press on after that, he just continued humming and massaging. If B'jin wanted to talk to him, the invitation was extended. If B'jin wanted to take the healer up on the offer, he could. If he didn't want to, Tal would just keep on humming.
Well, humming and worrying. But he wasn't going to try and pressure B'jin to talk. That was his own business. Tal just hoped he was important enough to share with.
