B'jin enjoys your company, and he finds your awkwardness endearing. Larrikith's feminine voice brushed against Talian's mind almost out of the blue, though the little green had been keeping an eye on both their trains of thoughts as she explored through the thick tree trunks. She didn't often go exploring on the ground by herself, it was a dangerous past time, even for a dragon and if not especially for one of her diminutive size. But she enjoyed trotting through the dappled shade and was having a great time, mostly focusing on the world around her though paying close enough attention to Harper and healer to be just as amused by their idle thoughts.
Talian's soft voice had B'jin turning his head slightly to look down at the boy, expression curious as he spoke. The plague was not something B'jin willingly delved into and he frowned slightly as Talian mentioned it, even in passing, though the subtle expression was the only indication of B'jin's discomfort. When Talian finished his comment, however, B'jin gave a soft laugh and hugged him tight for a moment, placing a gentle kiss on Talian's forehead. "I would be sad to miss it," he said gently, smiling at Talian. "Healer's Hall is quite far out of Telgar's region."
B'jin wasn't sure what to make of his life, and the way it had unravelled. There were so many turns of pain, as a result of the plague, that he would have preferred to live without. Losing friends, family, and loved ones. Fighting for survival every day for three turns, the awkward coming together of the remaining riders. The pain and unease those turns had brought about... And yet, B'jin was still thankful, for some of the small bursts of joy he was given. The births of his young son and daughter. The friendships he had developed with both riders and stolen, the classes he got to teach like he was a real Harper instead of a dragonrider fighting for a piece of a normality he had once taken for granted.
Staring up at the sky as his mind wandered, B'jin watched the clouds cruising across the cold and bright winter blue of the sky. Brown eyes, shadowed with his thoughts, made shapes out of the fluffy white without realising it, and his comment was made quietly and without much thought. "That one looks like a bubbly pie." It was even steaming! He smiled, gaze now seeking out another cloud with childish eagerness, and he nodded at another. "That one is a dragon's egg!"
