Z’rin returned the grin, though he honestly hadn’t considered Indivara—or anyone, really—to play baby maker for him. He didn’t think N’mor was ready to be a dad yet and he, himself, was find with his one daughter for the time being as well. Maybe in the future they’d discuss being full time fathers and how to go about it but now wasn’t the right time given how wrapped up in each other they were and, Z’rin had to admit, how young N’mor was. No doubt B’jin would kill one or both of them as well for making him a grandpa. But no matter when it happened, if it did, he’d never consider asking Indivara. He loved her far too much to ever want her to risk herself for him.
He chuckled at her confusion and didn’t take offense on N’mor’s behalf for her comment. His mate had likely heard it all by now and some things were a bit hard to imagine doing with only one arm, like playing guitar. “He doesn’t play anymore but he’s a very thorough instructor and knows I work well with positive reinforcement when I get the fingering right.” Z’rin waggled his brows at Indivara, knowing she’d get the play on words easily enough. V’ler seemed to as well if his snort of laughter was anything to go by. “You should have seen my motivation levels rise when I was doing therapy for my leg.” N’mor really was the only thing keeping him going with that. After the first session, Z’rin had started to think a limp wouldn’t be too bad to live with but N’mor kept pushing him and rewarding him until it wasn’t a chore to work at it and finally ditch the cane only recently.
“And yes, he knows how to laugh, and I’m living a really wild wet dream. No need to have them while sleeping. I need the rest to rebuild my strength for the next day of fun.” He knew he just left himself wide open for the jokes about the difference in age but they didn’t bother him. “I’d share more details but V’ler’s here and they aren’t the sort of things to discuss in front of polite company.” Z’rin was biting his lower lip after he said that, doing his best not to burst out laughing. They all knew V’ler was anything but polite and the poor man probably had just as active a sex life as Z’rin did, only one of them was having it with everyone thanks to a dragon and the other was doing everything with only one man.
