T'ryn visibly relaxed when F'drel asked his question with a 'your sister' thrown into it. He hated trying to keep their relation a secret, knowing one day he was going to slip up--like he had with Ayontay's name being on the family tree that R'nd had apparently seen. At least Ayontay was like him and wanted the bluerider in his life. He understood Mylorah's reasoning for not needing R'nd in her life, but couldn't they still just tell him and have her say she didn't need a dad and let him go about his life as usual? Then at least her siblings could stop worrying about saying the wrong thing to the wrong person. Sisters were so frustrating!
"Yeah... that's Mylo in a nutshell. She doesn't like seeing people sad or alone and makes it her mission to befriend them or find them a friend." She had turned too much of that power on him lately, though she did help bring N'mor back into his life so T'ryn couldn't hate her entirely for pushing him to be social. Besides, he could be social when he wanted to be! He was just the day before with sneaking off with Casa, but that was part of why he was silently brooding on an empty beach alone, so it was probably best not to think on that too much now that he wasn't entirely alone.
He didn't think F'drel had noticed when he approached and hopefully didn't notice the frown and crease between his brows as his thoughts drifted. At least, it didn't seem he had when he asked for clarification about R'dal. How many times over the turns had someone in their little group asked for clarification or a translation of Ristandal? T'ryn laughed softly, knowing this time it was partly his fault for being a bit vague. "On one of his last visits I teased him that he doesn't come by much anymore. He said he's still in Ista a lot but he's usually visiting you. Apparently, you're a good nap buddy and he usually falls asleep or just loses track of the time."
Despite not having any real interest in chasing greens, Syrendryth had decided he still wouldn't be viewed by one as undignified and confessing he was more soaking away the grime of the day and less actually swimming, seemed to fall in that category. It would also cast T'ryn in a bad light to have it be known he took a shortcut when it came to washing his dragon and Syrendryth would not tolerate that. His rider still scrubbed him and cared for him, but a team effort was needed.A bit of light swimming before cooling off in the shade, he honestly did prefer the shade to lying out in the sun. Ista was typically hot enough that even the shade wasn't as cool as was often desired so he could dry off from a swim and still reserve his energy by avoiding the hot sun.
As he turned back from the shore to head into the deeper water again, he looked over his shoulder at Halomirth,I don't mind you joining me, it wasn't like he owned the lake or requested to be left alone. He loved T'ryn but even he wasn't as bad as the boy with avoiding others. It was nice to have company sometimes and today was one of those times. Though he did hope Halomirth wouldn't talk incessantly.
