Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Almost half an hour passed before another egg hatched, asDalliance broke her head through the shell, just the head and neck sticking through the shell before she pressed her front legs against the edge of the opening to force the hole bigger, bouncing out once she could fit. It took a bit of work, as the green was a bit chubby as hatchlings went, but eventually she was free. As she took her first step, she tripped over part of her own eggshell and crashed face-first into another egg, cracking it open. The dragonet inside uncurled, and the first brown of the Clutch was revealed. Heartache gave Dalliance the most unimpressed look he could muster before stalking off to Impress. Dalliance watched him curiously, before spinning around and stumbling off to Impress herself.

The next dragonet to appear was another green,Doubt , who hatched with little fanfare and made a beeline directly for her bonded as soon as she was on her feet. As she was making her Impression, another dragonet appeared, this one more dramatically, as Grief punched through his eggshell, scattering pieces for several lengths around him. One hit Desperate , who was currently breaking through his own egg, who shrieked at the intrusion. The little blue clambered over to Grief and smacked him on the head with a wing in retaliation. Grief looked down at him unimpressed, before silently turning away and sauntering off to a nearby Candidate, circling him twice before leaning against his legs and shooting Desperate a condescending look. Desperate shrieked, incensed by his brother’s attitude, and dashed towards the brown to give him a piece of his mind, but skidded to a halt before he got there, attention caught by a Candidate he passed on the way, and he abandoned his petty vengeance in favor of purring as he butted his head against his lifemate’s stomach.

Two adjacent eggs cracked open almost simultaneously, andEnterprise and Calamity made their entrance. Calamity looked around, eyes wide in amazement. He looked like he was content to watch the world for a while yet, but his bronze brother shoved him with his noise, the little brown squawking in protest, until finally Calamity stood up. Enterprise herded him over to a nearby group of Candidates, Calamity complaining loudly all the way, until he suddenly froze, eyes locked on a young man. Satisfied his air headed brother was properly dealt with, Enterprise walked right up to the Candidate next to him and Impressed as well.
