Another blue and some greens, not at all that little golden egg, but Daelyne didn't care. Green was where it was at. Nothing would do for her. She just had to believe it enough for it to come true. Didn't she? She chuckled quietly when a piece of egg shell got stuck to one of the green's nose. That green was stunning in her color, a green that was hissing mad at her sister. Daelyne laughed as she shot towards her sister. She watched with amusement as the greens tussled back and forth, a little concern crinkling her brow as ichor flew and the green screeched loudly. Silly little things. She liked a dragon with spunk though and she watched the show.
When one of the dragonets launched herself towards the girls, intent on hiding behind the gold egg, Daelyne tensed with the sudden pressure of those babies being near her. Here could be her chance, the chance she'd been waiting for her entire life. Well not her entire life but it was close enough. The eye splitting green, brilliant in her shade, stopped dead in her tracks and Daelyne could feel the bombardment of her mind against her own.
Tybalith
Rainbows and colors and a whole other mind. Daelyne was silent for the first time in her life, a little bit of weakness showing as a tear quickly dashed from her cheek sprouted from her mind. "Tybalith," she breathed and reached out for that bright, bright green. Tybalith curled into the girl as Daelyne lead her away amidst the shocks and gasps. Stuck it right in their craw she did. Stuffy old Telgar, didn't think they'd have a girl impressing a green. Well Dae showed them. They are staring the green told her new rider with a tiny little growl to her voice and a wrinkle to her snout. "Let them stare," Daelyne said with a sneer of her own, "They don't understand greatness when they see it."
She stomped away with that little green dragon following beside her, Daelyne could already feel the love and adoration building inside her for this creature. It was different than they love she had for her daughter and different than the affection she had for Pixie. Pixie who popped out of between to settle firmly on the edge of the bucket to watch the happenings of this big firelizard. They still stare, Tybalith told her again. "So stare back." And the dragonet did. She stared with a sneer curling her snout and a challenging roar erupting from her maw. A squeaky, challenging roar, but a roar nonetheless. Daelyne laughed and laughed as she fed her dragon.
