Within seconds Tala senses the presence of the inhabitant of the egg, though it’s not trying to connect with her, just hovering at the outskirts of her mind. She sends it soft encouragement to come take a closer look at her, that she wanted to meet it, and it cautiously reaches out to her. Its touch is feathery light, and Tala would almost call it ticklish. As it quickly flits about her head Tala giggles, charmed by the nervous little dragonet. When it starts poking at a memory, one from her teenage years, she tries to encourage it, gently prodding it and sending positive thoughts. Apparently, it was a bit too much because it jumps, surprised, and scurries away from her back to the safety of its shell. It does, however, pause to say good bye in some fashion, and Tala can feel it’s appreciation for letting it poke around. Even if she did scare it a little.
Tala smiles as she takes her hand away, thinking the jumpy little dragonet inside seemed sweet. “Good luck, little one,” she tells it, “I’m rooting for you, okay? You’ll bond to someone lovely, I’m sure.” She scoots back a little, watching the egg for a moment before wondering if she can get away with Touching another one. It’s not like she had to, ultimately the Touching didn’t decide who Impressed to which egg, but it was so nice to interact with the eggs. Just one more couldn’t hurt, right? Glancing around just to be sure she was still safe, she moved a bit more to the left, ending up next to another egg.
“You don’t mind if I say hello, do you?” she asked it, not really expecting an answer. She didn’t feel any particular sense that it didn’t want her to touch it, so Tala went ahead and placed her hands against it.
