Indivara felt a shudder run down her spine as she shook her head mildly at R’vi, as amused by his expression as he apparently was with her attempt to change the subject. The fact that he didn’t let her succeed (not really) caused her some mild amusement instead of her usual spikey fury. “Hah, hah,” she said mildly, her tone fattened just slightly with her amusement, though she didn’t disagree that naps were good! She had taken to them a lot during her pregnancy with Varlea, but she’d also been a lot sicker carrying the girl than she currently suffered with the current growing parasite.
At the demand that she name which Vian she was sitting in front of, Indivara gave a soft laugh, but stopped quickly because it made her head pound at the temples. “Gee, I don’t know… Ny?” She opened her eyes wide and leaned forward, peering up at him playfully. “Hmm, nope!” She said, reaching forward with one hand to touch the side of R’vi’s face with soft fingers. “Definitely R’vi.” Rolling her eyes at him, Indivara sat back and folded her hands in her lap, giving him a flat look. “Really Ry,” she shook her head again, though she was honestly a little sad; she couldn’t remember the last time she’d gotten to spend time with N’vian.
“He took off with Veeth while I was in the bath,” she said absently, answering her own question of earlier about where V’ler was. She didn’t know where he was, and honestly wasn’t worried enough to quiz her dragon on it. He’d get home whenever he got home, though she was glad she wasn’t passed out on the floor for him to find. V’ler hadn’t given any indication that he was going to be the sort to get protective and fussy while she was pregnant, but she really didn’t want to tempt fate on that, either. Her nose scrunched up, wondering if she could convince R’vi to keep quiet on her passing out. Probably she could, but then there was the dragons to consider, and their armload of firelizards.
Indivara sighed dramatically and climbed to her feet. “Do you want something to drink?” She asked, brushing her hands over her hips before offering one to R’vi. “I brought some juice up earlier.” She could probably use with the sugar, anyway. “Val probably has some wine stashed away somewhere.” He wasn’t really a drinker (that she’d seen) but he was a Harper and Indivara knew B’jin drank like a fish, so she kind of assumed all harpers did. Add to it the general ability of dragonriders to put away booze like it was water in the desert and well, Indivara was sure there was wine somewhere in their weyr. Probably.
“No klah up here though,” she said, smiling slightly. The caffeine apparently disagreed with her hormones. The last time she’d had a cup, she’d just about bounced off the walls of the weyr and Val hadn’t even been able to seduce her into silence. That had been fun, if amusing and embarrassing to look back on!
