Excellent, Riquarth said nodding, pleased that he and Jycenth had the same thoughts about this whole thing, namely that their riders were a bit hopeless and needing the occasional nudge from the two of them. The brown couldn’t help but chuckle at Jycenth’s dilemma, reassuring the blue that he would certainly be able to convince T’bia otherwise in no time.
M’dox, perfectly unaware of his dragon’s meddling, didn’t even look up when he heard the door opening again, figuring it was probably another woman with sheets and currently absorbed in making sure the pockets on the pair of pants he was holding were empty before putting it in water. The noise whoever it was made had him pausing in his task, but before he could turn around to look at them M’dox felt someone come into contact with him and he froze, a spike of panic momentarily rising before he recognized the voice.
“Tbia!” He said, slowly relaxing into his friend’s touch as the fear subsided, equal parts elated and relieved. “Hi,” M’dox blushed, turning his face into T’bia’s nuzzling and smiling widely up at the bluerider. The laundry he was holding was discarded so M’dox could spin around and look at T’bia properly. “I was just thinking of you,” he admitted, blushing even harder. Trying to cover up his embarrassment, and maybe make T’bia not realize exactly what he’d said, M’dox leaned up to kiss him, twining his arms around T’bia’s shoulders.
Of course, the moment he broke the kiss M’dox saw movement out of the corner of his eye and remembered there was someone else in the room. The woman was still doing her laundry, but she had definitely looked over at them and M’dox turned absolutely red at the thought, eyes flicking over to her. He wasn’t ashamed about kissing T’bia or anything! M’dox most certainly wasn’t, he just… well, he was a rather private person and the idea of kissing in front of someone he didn’t know mortified him just a little bit. Still flushing brightly M’dox buried his face into T’bia’s shoulder, hoping that maybe if he couldn’t see her he could pretend she wasn’t there and focus on how very, very nice it was to see T’bia again, and how ridiculously relieved he was that T’bia had kissed him first — that meant it wasn’t just a random fluke the other day, T’bia still liked him and wanted to kiss him! Which was great, because M’dox still very much liked T’bia and wanted to kiss him too. Though he wasn’t sure he wanted to keep doing it with an audience.
