“Perfect.” Misharan said, absolutely beaming. “My lady Mymy, I love it.” Matching nicknames, how fun! He was so grateful that he and Mylorah had gotten to know each other better. Sure, he had plenty of friends, but Mylo seemed to operate on much the same level he did, and they had a lot in common. And it was nice to have a friend who resonated with him like that. Misharan was absolutely going to be bribing a lot of Telgar dragonriders to bring him to Ista to visit.
They spent the rest of the walk back to where they were keeping the Candidates not talking, but not in silence. Misharan couldn’t help giggling every time he made eye contact with Mylorah, so while they didn’t really talk they were still having fun.
Eventually they reached their destination, and Misharan unhooked his arm from Mylorah and gave her another overly dramatic bow and again picked up the ostentatious ‘lord’ accent, “Here you are, Lady Mymy. Your lodgings.” He stood back up, now facing her and smiled. “This was fun, Mylo. We should do it again sometime. Or find other places to hang out and chat.” With that, Misharan gave her a hug and a quick kiss on the temple, and stepped back with a fond smile. “Have a good rest of your night. And good luck finding that book, yeah? If you need help kicking someone’s ass for it, you know where I sleep and you’re welcome to wake me up at any time.” His usefulness at actually kicking any ass was minimal if he had woken up too recently, but the offer was genuine.
