Kovith followed his golden beauty along the wild path that she forged, dipping when she did, turning on a dime as she tried to lose her pursuers, and trying to outwit her with trying a small short cut here and there. He didn’t want to get too risqué with his moves as he had a good lead on a majority of his competition and didn’t want those close to him to edge by. Overall, he enjoyed the chase for what it was; showing off his skills and his stamina as he didn’t waver with each passing beat of their wings.
S’igi, however, played a different game on the ground. He left the physical prowess to his dragon while he played the mind games. He had learned early on that being aggressive on his end didn’t help win the Flight and only served to end up with a slapped face or even nails clawing across his skin. Instead, he watched others make that mistake and smirked when Vaeyla rewarded the idiot with a smack to the face just before his vision flickered to Kovith’s to see a bronze take an injury of some sort.
S’igi leaned back against the wall, close enough that Vaeyla would see him but not think him an immediate threat. He watched the way she stalked around the room, clearly showing she was in charge and they were there for her amusement and devouring when she saw fit. His gaze was hot and intent as they wandered along Vaeyla’s impressive form. It was a shame she had fallen for a brownrider and stayed loyal to him as he would have enjoyed taking her for a ride. With any luck, he’d find out soon. When the goldrider glanced in his direction, S’igi quirked a brow at her and once more gave her an appreciative once over.
Kovith saw his opening when a bronze took a swipe across his side and fell back. Nadioth seemed momentarily distracted with her triumph over another suiter and said suiters were hanging back a bit more now. Kovith took his chance then and with a kick of stamina he was holding in reserve, he shot forward, aiming to grapple and enjoy the tumble together.
