Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! C’dhin laughed at the greeting, liking that T’bia zeroed in on the treats right away instead of pretending he didn’t notice and casually asked what brought him by and how he was doing. There was plenty of time for small talk and chatting about nothing and everything – it was something else he enjoyed so he wasn’t all about baking, he thought smugly to those that hadn’t taken a moment to get to know him – and easily accepted the invitation to enter the bluerider’s home. “You haven’t seen my kitchen,” he replied when T’bia warned his place was a mess but C’dhin didn’t see anything too out of place from the norm. It was obvious the younger man had been cleaning and C’dhin could respect that. Maybe he should have asked through their dragons if now was a good time to visit but shrugged at himself, thinking T’bia would have still invited him over.
“And yes, treats! I tried some new things and you were the first I thought of for trying them out,” he held the basket out to T’bia to take, letting the man know they were entirely for him and not just a small selection within. “Besides, if I accidentally poisoned you, I’m pretty sure I can out run you to safety,” C’dhin was joking and stuck his tongue out to further prove that he was. He wasn’t the most athletic rider around and maybe he could outrun T’bia but he doubted the bluerider would even blame him if he suddenly doubled over in pain from a cookie.
“Oh, if there’s something in there that you really like, I might even be tempted to teach you how to make it,” again C’dhin smiled, showing how much he liked the idea. Bakers were notorious for keeping their recipes to themselves but he had learned that while some were best left a secret, it wasn’t any fun to be the only one baking and sharing the joy with someone else was worth showing a recipe here and there. He honestly had no idea if T’bia even knew how to make a fire, going solely off the whispers of when the guy was a struggling weyrling, but C’dhin was patient and willing to teach the basics if he wanted to learn.
