It was a relief, that professionally healery attitude. Talian's voice was calm, soothing, and Jada stopped her sniffling when he looked to her. It was nice of him to be thinking of them. It really was. But at this point, Jada had more to worry about that an Impression. She was young. She'd have another chance. Right now, there was no question of where she would rather be. Out on those hot Sands, in sandals and a torn, bloodstained robe? Or up here, with her young friend. Her student?
Until a dragon was in her face going 'Hi, you're mine now,' Jada knew where her priorities lay. She was a teacher- and she was Indivara's friend.
"Thank you," she told Talian, "But I'm staying right here. I'll have another chance to Impress. Nirinath will lay again." She reached out, and gripped Indivara's hand, glaring fiercely back at a Healer who grumbled at her. "Indivara needs me more than the Sands do."
Decision? Made.
