Echlerov hadn't even realized that the dimness of the evening would effect them being able to see the hatchlings, though when the first egg cracked, it became clearly obvious. He couldn't blame people for not wanting to run off to fetch glows, even if it would make the hatching easier to see, since that might mean that they would miss an impression or two.
There had already been a couple of impressions, but Echlerov was mostly concentrating on the baby dragons still searching on the sands. The one who was searching through the candidates was still on the opposite side from where he was, and his eyes fell more on the awkward bouncing Blind In The Light Hatchling. It seemed very excited, and he couldn't help but grin at it.
It was looking for someone, and when it reached up at Breccan, Echlerov was sure that it had chosen her. However, it moved away from her, glancing around in a panic, as if it didn't like what it had just done.
Rainbow flashed through its eyes as it locked on Echlerov, lurching forward towards him. It was still somewhat hesitant, not wishing to bestow injuries upon them like it had on Breccan, but Echlerov knelt down, grinning madly."It's alright, Pistoth." Everything would be alright. "Let's go get you something to eat."
As the pair made their way over to where the meat was, the light from the glows finally reached Pistoth, even as he tripped over himself and sprawled on the ground. Echlerov chuckled, and then helped the little blue untangle himself.
