With the two hatchlings hidden in the darkness, the eggs behind them were rattling to varying degrees, though none of them had quite reached the stage that their shells were falling apart. One in particular seemed to be rattling quite valiantly, though after a minute it fell still.
The Dancing Horizon Hatchling had gained much steadier feet beneath itself now and was moving on past Erisi and Kerrin, now reaching Lymsleia. It paused, running the point of its wing up her leg, straining to reach her abdomen. With a faint croon it stared at her with whirling green eyes, it was at peace with the process. Would a wise and gentle dragon grow from this hatchling? Nudging her shin with its nose it turned away, slowly stepping over to another Candidate.
At the center of the clutch, the Blind In The Light Hatchling was stumbling and bouncing about to the best of its ability. Even with its wobbly hatchling legs, the excitement it felt was clear from how it moved. It gave a shrill bugle, both greeting the Candidates and matching the happiness in its glowing blue eyes. Over-excited, it barked and dove forward, grabbing at the base of Breccan's robes. Its claws ripped through the fabric but didn't touch her skin. Reaching up it seemed to try and stroke her face. Talons sunk into her face, leaving semi-deep cuts on her cheek and eyebrow. Squealing the hatchling thrust itself backwards, shocked at what it had done. It backed up slightly, glancing around wildly in a panic, white showing in its eyes. Rainbow flashed through its eyes as it locked on a Candidate, lurching forward towards them. It was still somewhat hesitant, not wishing to bestow injuries upon them like it had on Breccan.
The Second Rate Attack egg rattled again, a claw striking through the shell. A whirling red eye appeared in the gap after the claw withdrew, a very faint hiss coming from within. This dragon it seemed, wasn't pleased with the idea of hatching.
Everyone was now focused on the Dancing Horizon Hatchling, with it being the only one on the sands. It was still walking with slow, measured steps, careful not to slip or hurt anyone. Approaching Yuhannam, Farlint and Silute it crooned, swinging its head back and forth as it surveyed the three men. Stepping forward, it sniffed at the hems of their robes before looking up, its eyes slowly spinning in a rainbow. There was a gasp, as Yuhannam knelt on the ground, reaching out to touch the dragon's head. "Fomalhauth… you're so patient!" He exclaimed. "You should eat now, not later." He insisted.
There is now a 45 minute break where there are no hatchlings on the sands. The PC Impression text will be edited once the player has read their information and posted.
