Nirinath's deep hum was picked up by Grith almost instantly, as she pranced around in front of the circuit idly. Falling to the ground still as a statue she inhaled deeply, her eyes whirling wildly. NIRINATH! She screeched, excitement pulsing through her body. Any response from the golden queen went unheard by the Green as she went galloping towards the dining hall where her rider was.
HATCHING! PELL! THEY'RE HATCHING! The words were bellowed out across the entire Weyr, even though she was aiming them to her rider. Even as she ran, she hummed deep within her chest, the sound being picked up by the other dragons of the Weyr. When she reached the dining hall, riders and other members of the Weyr were now pouring out of the building, which sorely impeded her progress forward.
Par'a was eating a hearty meal, as always, downing a rather large glass of wine after a hard day of chores and cleaning her dragon. Grith's screech to Nirinath was heard by her, though at first she didn't pay any heed to it. The Green had been highly excitable this past week, it was likely she had just seen Nirinath leaving to get a meal, which was a rare occasion with a clutch on the sands. Her following announcement caused Par'a to spit some of her wine out in shock, the eggs were hatching?! Dropping her cutlery she jumped up, swinging her legs over the bench and bolting for the exit. 'Grith! Are you sure?' Par'a trusted her dragon, but Grith was known for announcing a hatching when there hadn't been one and as such was wary.
Yes! Yes Pell oh they're hatching! Quickly, come quickly! She shouted, slightly less loud this time, though still broadcast to all as she bounced outside the doors. As soon as Par'a was through she vaulted to her dragon's neck, the petite Green jumping up and swooping over the heads of the crowd rushing beneath her. They reached the hatching circuit as the beginnings of the crowd arrived, Grith quickly landing and letting Par'a dismount before leaping up to find a suitable perch on the mountain. While she wouldn't be able to see much, she'd be close enough to hear and to pick Par'a up afterwards.
Jogging forward, she glanced in, trying to seek out the eggs around Nirinath's protective form. After a moment she spotted them, some shaking beneath her guarding form. They were beautiful, just as beautiful as the last clutch. Her hopes were high for this clutch, a Gold maybe! Par'a hadn't bet on any eggs, it wasn't something she liked, gambling. But still, she had high hopes on seeing many metallic hides crack shell this evening.
