Rhaedalyn stirred a short time later, having drifted off in what ended up being a needed nap. She had been working hard in the kitchen to help with breakfast before everyone developed a new routine for Fort Weyr and then turned her attention to her weyr. She had wanted to make it feel more like home and add her own personal touches but it was hard to decorate something that was essentially a hole in the wall; albeit a large one. When Aradissicath took to the sky, she had been caught unawares, as usual, and gawked a bit when R’nya ran inside.
That had been the last coherent thing she remembered until stirring awake to what was becoming a familiar sensation and even scent. She gave a happy little rumble as she nestled in closer to the warm body that symbolized comfort and security. If she had any doubts about who she was snuggling with, Aradissicath’s calmness and pleasant nature assured Rhaedalyn enough that Xyreith was beside her golden beauty.
A hand began to wander, starting its journey on the thigh it first made contact with and slowly gliding up over the hip bone, abdomen, and finally resting at R’nya’s chest where fingers made playful little circles. “Ren?” She waited a moment to make sure he was awake and not simply speaking to the air around her, “I’d say we should stop meeting like this but I really, really don’t want to. I’d actually prefer to say I really, really enjoy it.” Rhaedalyn confessed, rather boldly for her nature. She’d just blame such a thing on Aradissicath but she knew deep down that wasn’t entirely true and enjoyed the bronzerider’s company on multiple levels she couldn’t explain.
