Peorray twitched slightly when J'tir whispered in her ear, taking a few steps away from the man with an expression too distracted to be called displeasure. It appeared to be an unconscious gesture, the woman taking no more active notice of her suitors than her dragon did of the winged ones. She needed no instruction to stay with her- everything that she was was bound up in the glowing gold stretching her wings more fully than she ever had before.
For a while, Wydrith kept a straight path across the sky, ever onward and upward. No need to play the coquette or look for pretty words of devotion from her bronzes while she was riding the high of being young, strong, and in thrall to the energy sizzling in her blood tonight. So she reveled in the joy of flight, of not having a rider to worry about as she followed this air current or altered course to investigate that interesting cloud.
Eventually, though, flight didn't come as easily as it once had. Wydrith snaked her head around to discover that two pursuing bronzes had closed the gap sometime while she'd been enjoying herself and grumbled quietly. She wasn't ready to be caught yet, by either the familiar, passionate Gelabrith or the older, more experienced Vleyth. If they meant to have her, let them earn it. The gold banked as tightly as one of her size could manage and flew back at the males, threading the needle between them.
She passed closer to Gelabrith than was wise, but judged the gap and her abilities finely enough to escape out the other side uncaught, already planning her next move.

Make your responses, and then my next post will conclude the flight. Thanks to you both for participating :)
