Rhaedalyn nearly pounced on R’nya when she greeted him at the door. She was so excited for the evening and was happy to see her friend that arms almost swung around the stoic bronzerider for a bouncy hug but she refrained, if only just. “Thank you for coming, Ren! I know we’ll have a wonderful evening. Come, sit, I’ll get you a drink.” She bustled around the small room, ushering R’nya to an open seat opposite Z’ia before going for the drink she had promised. She was so excited but nervous as well. What if the night didn’t go as wonderfully as she hoped it would? The night had played out several times in several ways in her head since she came up with the idea but it always ended with the four of them being best of friends and laughing, planning to do another dinner date in the near future.
She let out a happy little sigh as she poured the wine. The glass was carefully brought over to R’nya. The last thing she wanted was to spill it on him! She wasn’t typically a klutz, but nerves got the better of even the greatest of men so Rhaedalyn wasn’t risking anything. She took her seat again beside Z’ia and blushed delicately as she realised it was the first time she was sitting so close to the bluerider in front of R’nya. It wasn’t that she was ashamed of their relationship but she had never had a real relationship before and it was almost odd to enjoy such things in front of a friend. She wasn’t about to shuffle away though! Once K’tir arrived, it would balance everything out anyway.
