Rhaedalyn froze in terror when Z’ia bent in closer to read the note. She wanted to pull him away, to stop him from seeing such horrible filth, and cling to him as she willed the thing out of existence but instead she let him read every word without so much as breathing. The world felt like it was slowly tilting upside down and Rhaedalyn started to feel faint from fear of what her sweet bluerider would think of her but his action of taking it down and passing it over to her grounded the goldrider once more.
She looked down at the rolled parchment in her hand and tightened her hold to crinkle it when Z’ia pointed out that a flaw was her hair colour. “I’d say that’s the last thing to worry about when it comes to inaccuracies,” she shot back, a glare in place as her anger rose; at least until she looked from parchment to bluerider. Seeing his smile made any anger she had melt away and a smile of her own slowly tugged at lips. “At least I know the writer doesn’t pay much attention to me if they got that wrong.” Rhaedalyn was still a bit upset but she was trying to make the most of the situation and see the silliness in it. She knew very few people saw them as accurate portrayals or works of truth but they were still hard to cope with when she was starring in some.
“I’m sorry you were brought into it. They can write what they want about me but they shouldn’t bring in those I care most about.” Rhaedalyn pouted a little and boldly slipped her arms around Z’ia, dropping her head on his shoulder as she hugged him.
