Aradissicath was happy with the turn out that ended up on her tail for the chase. Bronzes and browns and even a few blues were giving it their best and the gold appreciated every last one of them. She was the best and deserved nothing less! To know that even blues were willing to risk it all to play with the big boys for her boosted her confidence and Aradissicath flew higher into the wispy morning clouds as well.
On the ground, Rhaedalyn was still panicking as the lust started to war with her desire to flee. It was nice to finally be wanted by men and she swore she could feel the desire radiating from each of them, but it scared her as well. This wasn’t what she wanted! She wanted her bluerider, her one love, to come whisk her away and keep her safe and loved for all eternity. Z’ia didn’t appear, though. R’nya was there, however, and Rhaedalyn felt a brief wave of relief when she saw her friend until she realized through both his expression and flashes of vision through her dragon’s eyes that Xyreith was also chasing and R’nya was a part of the current problem and not the solution.
Both ideas of running and hiding in her hut collided when O’wain moved in closer to her. As Aradissicath spiralled downward out of the way of a bronzerider reaching for her, Rhaedalyn ducked away from someone else’s reaching hand and dodged around O’wain. The front door was reached without any further obstacle and she slammed it behind her. She knew it wouldn’t hold anyone since she lacked locks and windows would be easy enough to climb through but it would help for a moment. Suddenly feeling sick from the knowledge of what would happen at the end of the flight and from the way her vision shifted between sky and room, Rhaedalyn stumbled to her bedroom and slammed that door as well.
She had cornered herself in the one room she really should have avoided but she had nowhere else to go and, while she didn’t think of it at the time, at least the flight would end in a comfortable and private location. How mortifying would it be to wake up with an audience?
Aradissicath gave a laugh at her rider’s imaginative fears. Nothing bad would come of the flight! They were fun and only the most worthy amongst the crowd would win; if they could catch her first. Aradissicath made to move a little closer to a brown to tease him before pulling away and leading the chase back into the sky, but her spatial awareness was still lacking and she ended up bumping wings with him. It startled the gold only briefly but she didn’t care if it scared the brown dragon enough to have him drop out or lose his well-ranked position in the chase. She had a flight to enjoy!
Down she led the group, twirling as she moved and causing the rising sun to reflect off her shimmering hide. It was another daring move as she brought the train of dragons too close to the roof tops of a row of huts, again due to her awkward proportions. Rhaedalyn gasped from her bedroom as she caught a glimpse of a pair of riders sitting on a roof duck when Aradissicath came toward them and hoped they were well as the gold rose higher once more. That was one of the last lucid thoughts she had as the gold’s lust spiked in her and with a flush that crept from cheeks and down her neck, Rhaedalyn removed the robe she had been clinging tightly around her body. It was getting far too hot in her little room!
ooc: Feel free to enter her room since the doors aren't locked. You can also make grabbing attempts as the winner will likely be decided with the next post from Rhaedalyn.
