Z'ia beamed at Rhaedalyn, expression bright and cheerful as she nodded firmly, apparently thrilled by her agreement that D'hys wouldn't find out about his little habit. Inwardly, Z'ia was inclined to laugh outright at her bizarre mannerism and the ridiculous head bob, but hey, he'd work with what he had. The bluerider giggled softly, flicking his hair out of his face again before frowning slightly and then pulling back the top and sides, plaiting them into a braid. The heavily curled strands stayed as he forced them, and his hands dropped back into his lap, fingers twining as he continued to grin at Rheadalyn, face curl free.
"Ahh," Z'ia's eyes widened dramatically as the little gold firelizard landed in his lap and demanded a petting, the bluerider's hands releasing and lifting rapidly to shoulder height; he wasn't afraid of the gold in his lap, which was made quite clear from the way he was eyeing Plague sideways, more than a little worried by the furious emotions rolling off the little green - her eyes were a furious and intese red, and her wings were half extended in a furious display of rage, but she didn't move. Instead, she continued to stare hotly down at Whisper, and Z'ia was quite sure if he so much as imagined touching the gold firelizard, he would lose his pretty face, and his hair, and probably his life.
Plague is not pleased, Aveleth put in mildly, speaking to both the other girls, his nose shifting to snuffle at Z'ia's shoulder, breathing warm air over the irate firelizard. She didn't so much as twitch, while Z'ia appeared to be still frozen as he waited to see how the world would end; would it be a huge explosion? His features, however, were twisted into a mischevious expression and he was eyeing Plague with a smug, knowing look as he sat there. He was clearly tempted to test her jealousy, but just as clearly rather enjoyed his physical health. "Plague," Z'ia purred out the word, his tone sugary sweet and reassuring as he tilted his chin slightly and looked at his green firelizard curiously. Her poisonous green body was trembling in outrage.
"Baby girl, you're not jealous, are you?" Green eyes sparkled as he watched the firelizard turn her gaze ever so slowly to look at him, and Z'ia blinked innocently when she settled that vicious and unsettling gaze upon him. He paused for a moment, before darting forward to place a light kiss on Plague's nose; the tiny firelizard squawked in surprise and then bat at Z'ia's face with one foot, grumbling with little sounds as she settled herself back on his shoulder more placidly, sticking her nose in the air and ignoring Whisper as she buried herself in Z'ia's hair. Smiling smugly, Z'ia lowered his hands, and stroked one finger down Whisper's spine. Girls were so ridiculous! Plague bit him on the back of the neck, and Z'ia's shoulders jerked slightly before he rolled them and shook his head slightly.
Turning his attention back to Rhaedalyn, Z'ia smiled slightly. "Do you like berries?"

Unless stated otherwise, Aveleth never speaks to anyone but Z'ia
