Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! She did not bother responding to any of his comments; the apology was acknowledged, and accepted, but Indivara didn’t see any need nor reason to offer a reply. Nor was the comment about her lack of stupidity, with Indivara reading it more as a mopey sulk than an ego buff for her. She didn’t want to encourage Ryvian to mope, and wasn’t interested in listening to him whine about how stupid he was and that was why a dragonet had chosen Nyvian instead of him… or some such bullshit. Their dragonets would come, and they would be amazing and Indivara cut her thoughts off irritably. Fuck the dragonets.
Despite the harsher edge to her thoughts, Indivara’s touch was light and gentle as her soapy hands moved from over Ryvian’s chest to down his left arm, the motions smooth and methodical. She used the gentle style one of the midwives had shown her for bathing Varlea, and though Indivara was remarkably less worried she would break Ryvian than she was when she was bathing the newborn, her movements were still reserved and almost as if she were walking on glass. Reaching his hand, Indivara washed that, too, before allowing the soapy fingers to slip from between her own, and back into the water. Indivara’s own hands dipped into the bath, before raising small handfuls to drop over her friend’s shoulder and chest, watching as the water slowly rinsed away the soap.
Stepping away, Indivara collected some more of the soap, before returning. This time, she stopped a little closer, the girl not at all unaware of the way her body reacted but unwilling to acknowledge it; Ryvian just wanted her to say he had had her, and Indivara was, to all intents and purposes, a virgin. Oh, she had been in the beds of plenty of flight losers, but she had never slept with someone that was of his own mind. They were a wild, enjoyable ride and Indivara didn’t regret any of them; but she had never known someone that knew she was there, beyond being a pair of legs to rest between. In a way, that, too, was why she refused her friends. What would she do, if they treated her the same way those drunk on flight lust did?

She refused to look at Ryvian’s face, blue gaze locked firmly on her own hands; her chest felt tight, and Indivara changed to breathing soft, shallow breaths through finely parted lips as she let Ryvian’s fingers go from between her own, and back into the water. Her own hands followed suit, cupping water to drop lightly over her friend’s shoulder, washing away the soap.
As the last of the soap washed away, Indivara’s hands lingered, resting lightly on Ryvian’s chest. She did not seem to be aware she was moving, as she stepped into Ryvian, hands gentle as she gripped his face, and rose up onto her toes to kiss him with gentle hesitance. The girl was quite sure Ryvian only wanted her to notch his bedhead with her name, but that was far from the thought in her mind as she carefully slipped her arms around his neck and used them to lift herself up, so she could wrap her legs around his waist.
