B’jin laughed softly, a quiet and breathy sound as he settled himself more comfortably, partly sprawled across R’nd and partly before the bluerider, one leg curving around the bluerider’s body while his other was curled up under himself. Leaning forward, B’jin placed a light kiss on R’nd’s nose. “Yes.” It was a simple word, but the pleasure and the joy as B’jin said it spoke levels more.
The greenrider’s expression turned sly, and he eyed R’nd from under his lashes, leaning in close to whisper teasingly. “Don’t worry love; it’s not going on display. I’m not sharing it with anyone.” He couldn’t be possessive of R’nd, but he could certainly be possessive of his gifts! The picture was going somewhere special (he’d figure out where, later) where no one else could get their grubby mitts on it or feast their eyes on it. It was his, and he wasn’t about to share it. Smiling slyly, B’jin kissed R’nd lightly on the lips, then trailed along the edge of his jaw, and down the side of his neck.
Shifting the leg that was wrapped round R’nd, B’jin brought it back towards himself, knee folded so it trailed parallel to R’nd’s own. Once he was comfortable and reassured his leg was not about to be squished, B’jin leaned heavily into R’nd, initiating another kiss to avoid questioning looks or words. Brown eyes sparkled mischievously as nimble fingers flicked at the ties of R’nd’s pants, loosening them before his hands wandered up the bluerider’s stomach, pushing the shirt up as he went.
The kiss was broken long enough to tug R’nd’s shirt up and over his head, flicking it on the ground as B’jin sat back a little, hands wandering down R’nd’s body as he studied his lover appreciatively in the twilight. “You really are very lovely,” it was spoken in an absent, distracted manner, barely above a murmur and as if B’jin had never really thought about it, or was only realising just then how much of the gossip about R’nd’s appearance was true.
It was not that B’jin was blind or that it was so unimportant that he had never noticed; he was shallow enough that he wanted a lover he would find attractive, and R’nd had always fulfilled that requirement enough that he had never really bothered to look closer. The man was sweet, and went out of his way to treat B’jin well, and that was more important than finding out how rose-tinted his glasses were by picking out all the imperfections in someone whom he so enjoyed being with. He brushed his left hand gently from the base of R’nd’s throat, down the centre of his chest and down to the bluerider’s belly button, then on, pausing only when he met the hem of the other man’s pants.
“Today was amazing,” B’jin’s gaze lifted to meet R’nd’s, a small, warm smile on his lips. “Thank you.” He’d never really had much in the way of birthday celebrations, and certainly nothing that could compare to the extents R’nd had gone to that day to make it an enjoyable one for B’jin. The effort meant a great deal to the greenrider, and he shifted where he was perched on R’nd’s thighs. He paused for a moment, head tilting slightly as the green dragon’s eye facing the two men opened. It closed a moment later with a soft rumble. There was not anyone near, and there wouldn’t be anyone near, stop fussing.
The gaze that shifted back to R’nd was heavy with the greenrider’s lusty intent.
