B’jin accepted the mug graciously, watching as the wine was poured with a brightening expression when he noticed the Benden label. An appreciative smile was flashed at his lover, more than aware of how rare decent wine was within the Weyr of late, and even more impressed that the wine in question was of Benden stock. Difficult to get at the best of times, the lack of replenishing stock since D’ren had forbidden any further trips north was almost heartbreaking! B’jin swirled the wine, watching its movement in the heavy mug, before looking up as R’nd raised his glass, the greenrider’s face changing to form a somewhat self-conscious expression and his eyes dropped, though the smile did not falter.
“To you,” B’jin responded softly, his eyes saying far more than his voice as heat flushed through him, the greenrider’s features tinting with it at the array of delighted emotions the simple use of a possessive term had evoked. Turning back towards the water’s edge, he pressed back gently against R’nd, thrilling in the bluerider’s presence as he took a light sip of the wine. B’jin was quite sure R’nd was not aware of the little terms he threw around occasionally, and he was not about to point them out to the bluerider. B’jin was also quite sure had already pushed too many of the younger man’s buttons with his slip up a few months prior, and he wasn’t about to lose R’nd by pointing out that sometimes he referenced a ‘them’ with gentle possessive terms.
B’jin glanced at Ayyonth when the dragon snorted, eyebrows furrowing for a moment before his expression smoothed out with a fond, amused look at the dragon. Odd noises from dragons usually meant conversations were happening. Odd noises from Ayyonth could generally be summed up as the dragon picking on his rider – something B’jin could relate to, but was always much more amusing when it was he being picked on by his own dragon! Relaxing back into R’nd, B’jin was slightly startled when the bluerider shifted, and spoke. Twisting his head to look at him, B’jin flashed a cheeky smile. “More?!” Eager excitement lingered under the teasing way he spoke the word, brown eyes bright with surprised delight.
