I'shan was busy eating when a familiar and awfully suspicious feeling washed over him. He looked up from his plate, one brow raised, and drummed his fingers on the table. What was that, now? An insistent, needy feeling, possibly drifting from Ilveriath? The dragon was actually awake and considering being not-useless? How peculiar. What's up, Ilv? he asked silently, slowly twisting in his seat to glance out the window.
Outside, the lithe blue dragon was perched silently beside their home, jeweled eyes fixed on the sky. I'shan could tell that his daydreaming dragon was distant and distracted, but there was also this rare edge of slyness. It was playful, but also somehow tactical and devious.
I'shan smirked. I get it he said, not expecting an answer. He felt a tingle of excitement and promptly got up to head outside, paying no attention as his ill-mannered fire lizards dove eagerly onto his plate of food. The rolls and scraps of meat he was working on eating were quickly scattered about as the three flitters argued over them, though ultimately Squee was the victor. He plopped down on top of the plate, collecting the majority of the food and watching as Squeak and Spazz tumbled about for the remainder.
I'shan trotted to Ilveriath's side, watching as the dragon suddenly launched himself into the air. Who is it this time?! I'shan asked as he felt the liberating feeling of flightlust start to set in.
Caxith
Caxith, huh? I'shan grinned, then took off. Fun times!
