General Appearance: Dandidoar's face is angular without any of the baby fat that had plagued his childhood. Sharp cheekbones, sharp nose and stubborn chin are what makes up his features. His jaw is firm and well-shaped, adding to the angularity of his facial features. His eyes are well-shaped and slightly deep-set in his face. They are a brilliant blue that is flecked with yellow giving them a hazel appearance and they are framed by thick lush lashes.

He is of average height for a man of Pern, standing 6'1" and his body is stocky, well built and used to hard work. He has broad shoulders and wide chest that tapers into a narrow waist and hips. His legs are leg and strong and his arms are just the same. His hair is a dirty blonde that he tries to maintain short, he doesn't like the look of him when it's long, reminding him too much of his sister, and even short there is a noticeable wave to it.

Dressing Style: Well made but worn clothing is generally what Dandioar wears. He's neither poor nor rich and it is reflected in the clothing that he wears. He prefers a nice fit, well-made pair of pants and a simple shirt, Dandioar doesn't put on airs and dress pretentiously. He dresses for both comfort and workability.

Personality

General Character Traits:
Loyal. Blunt. Hot-tempered. Kind
Dandioar can be a hot-tempered foolish child when he doesn’t get his way at times and he tends to not think before he speaks. He is a rather blunt individual who has the annoying habit of speaking his mind without thinking of the consequences. On the opposite side of the token Dandioar can be a kind soul who has a mischievous side that he has no problems showing to people.

He can most definitely be kind, with words of praise and solid advice to heap upon the new weyrlings. Dandioar is loyal to a fault, he can and does go out of his way to help a friend should they need it. On occasion, his blunt straightforward attitude has made enemies of infrequent acquaintances. He loves with a single-minded passion and a kind of devotion that can be frightening at times – to both him and the recipient.

Habits/Mannerisms: Taps fingers on thigh when impatient, chews his lips when thinking too hard.

Threadfall Theory: Doesn't know what to think. He wants to believe in it but at the same time thinks those who do to be a bit daft.

Background Story:
720 & 0: Born to a journeyman healer and his commoner wife who were stationed at Ista Hold.
722 & 2: LIttle sister is born and Dandi is annoyed by this and tries to give her away on repeated occasions to random people at the hold.
725& 5: Falls while playing with the hold children, breaks a leg and is left with a slight limp.
730 & 10: Mother dies from what should have been a mild cold but turned into a raging fever which took her life a week later. Father was distraught at being unable to save his wife but did not take too long trying to find a new one. Dandioar is a bit put out and disgusted by that.
735 & 15: The dragons return to the north. How exciting! Dandioar wasn't born when they disappeared and has never grown in a world with them. He is immediately smitten by them.
738 & 18: A chance encounter with bluerider A'bram and his blue Avrath sees Dandioar searched and on his way to Ista Weyr. That was the best day that he ever had. He bid his weepy sister and smug brother goodbye while his father and new stepmomma looked on.
739 & 19: Finally given a firelizard egg and is delighted when bronze Tigger is hatched. How amazing and exciting! Dandioar loves firelizards as a whole.
739 & 19: Stands for clutches Dawn Delights and Fire & Flame. Does not impress at either but knows from others that this is more usual than not and isn't worried about anything. He also goes to stand at Telgar's clutch (Biding Dreams) and though he did not impress he witnessed three girls impress green. He knows nothing really to have an opinion about women on greens but it does find it odd everyone else is all up in arms about it.
740 & 20: Enjoys his time at the gather while waiting for Thallyath's eggs to hatch.

Weyrlinghood: As is typical for his Clutch, Shirrikath is on the chubby side as a Weyrling. While he is certainly not the roundest of his siblings, he is noticeably bulky. He has a broad build that emphasises his chunky appearance; wide chest, huge rump, and a broad forehead with wideset eyes and fat cheeks.
Of hide, Shirrikath is a rather unremarkable brown with an orange-ish finish to him. His wingbacks and feet are muted, as if doused in powdered sugar.

Adulthood: The physical requirements of Weyrlinghood treat Shirrikath well, and by the time he graduates, he has lost the vast majority of his pudge, converting it into hard muscle. His body is heavy, his bulk more than a little intimidating; this brawny brown dragon can take hits and just keep on ploughing through. If Pern had any idea what a Tank was, Shirrikath would be beside the definition.

Reaching an impressive size overall, Shirrikath would be eye-catching due to his mere presence. But he also has bling; adulthood graces Shirrikath with a hide of multiple tones. While the majority of his body and limbs are a rippling wave of mingling browns, from soft and sandy to an almost black shade, it is further emphasised by the splattering across his muzzle and paws in a shade that is echoed across the backs of his wings, spine, and down the top of his tail. This brown is a deep, rich and dark chocolate that compliments his brighter tones beautifully.

From Weyrlinghood to Adulthood, Shirrikath simply isn’t a dragon to be overlooked – no matter what he wants.

Mindvoice: Shirrikath has a dry voice that usually sounds mildly entertained by whatever it is that is going on around him. When he gets genuinely excited, however, it pitches up – even getting a little squeaky at times. As a rule, he speaks in a low register, and with a slow, calculated choice of words that seems to only emphasise his apparent amusement.

General Character Traits: Full of good humour and a lazy sass, Shirrikath is an easy dragon for most folks to get along with. He has a great love for being amused, but never crosses the line to cruelty to get his kicks; not that he’s above laughing at the idiot that falls on their face – but only if the idiot was asking for that embarrassment – because at his core Shirrikath is a gentleman and he will always behave with dignity and honour, even as he simultaneously teases his rider without mercy.

As a youth, Shirrikath is as much at the butt of jokes and teasing as any of his pudgy classmates, and it gives the dragon a rather long living complex. He is insanely self-conscious about himself, and how he is viewed by others. While he knows that the opinions of others shouldn’t bother or impact him, they do and that adds to his feelings of being a disappointment and failure. As he grows, and comes to understand the world and his beloved bonded, Shirrikath will develop a protective streak as wide as he is.

Bullying is not something that Shirrikath will ever stand for, and it is something that will be seen even as early as the days following his Hatching, when he sees the ways in which Malvayth can be spoken of by others, as her lower intelligence becomes more widely known. His wings are wide, and Shirrikath will spread them out to protect anyone that needs it – from the young, to the old, the weak, the infirm – there will likely be times throughout his life where he is scolded – by Dandioar or by those Shirrikath is trying to protect – for putting himself where he isn’t wanted.

Habits/Mannerisms: Self-conscious as he is of his size – both as a youth, and an adult – Shirrikath will spend the majority of his life trying to squeeze his bulky body into places or spaces that really aren’t big enough for him. Those who don’t know him will assume he has no spatial awareness, while those who are aware of his insecurities (few and far between as they may be) are more likely to understand what it is he’s attempting to do.

Entertainment: Shirrikath loves to be entertained! He prefers active entertainment – such as humans putting on a show of some type, or watching Flights or aerial manoeuvres in general. He’s less inclined to the story telling or star gazing types of entertainment, finding those a bit dull and lacklustre for his tastes.

Bribes: Shirrikath has a great dislike of bribes. He finds them demeaning – as if someone can buy him and his actions with words or tokens! – and he thinks poorly of those that accept them…

Determined: Shirrikath will never give up, not without a fight. Once he’s set his mind to something, it takes a whole lot of effort to shake him from it – a lot of effort. Also possibly bribes… which is a whole other can of worms.

Accepting Bribes: The fact that Shirrikath so often accepts the bribes that are thrown at him, whatever they may be, is of great shame to the massive brown dragon. He constantly thinks he is better than such an action, and constantly is proven wrong. But treats are delicious, and those eye ridge scritches… Ugh! Bad Shirrikath!

RP Sample

The bronze draped across his shoulder hissed and scolded a woman terribly when she accidentally moved into their path. "You know," Dandioar said to the bronze, "You're never going to make us any friends if you don't stop that. Not everyone wants to be lectured by a firelizard." The firelizard in question did nothing but chirp before sliding his cheek against Dandi's in an attempt to get out of the trouble he'd started. It worked mostly, Dandi was always quick to forgive Tigger for his outbursts. He was, after all, young and unused to going out in public much.

This was the first gather Dandi had attended since being search, opting to stay in Ista when they were being held instead of going. He was trying to better his terrible reading and writing ability, something that wasn't uncommon in the youth of Pern, but he didn't want to seem uneducated to the rest of the population. Especially when people learned he was from a hold and should be educated. It wasn't his fault the letters always seemed to take on a mind of their own.

He stopped at a stall and began looking over the wares the man was hawking. They were nicely made and a list of prices was written on a slate of stone. Dandi squinted at the words trying to decipher the numbers connecting to the items and failing miserably. He held up a knife sheath and shook it lightly at the man, "How much for this?" he asked after it. The man had watched the boy struggle with his price listing and an opportunity to prey was seen and taken, "50 marks," was the reply though the list was well below for that particular sheath.

"Really?" Dandioar questioned with a frown, "That seems high for this but if you say so." "Don't believe me?" the man tapped the list, "It's written in plain Pernese, right here, trying to steal from me eh?" Dandi shook his head, embarrassed that he'd been unable to read, "No, no here. I'll take it for 50." He started digging around in his mark pouch, his embarrassment slowly bleeding into irritation, and didn't notice the person walking up behind him.

Appearance

Tigger is quite large for a bronze, coming very close to a smaller gold firelizard in size. His is a green-tinted bronze color, though it does have a bit of a brassy sheen to it. His coloring is mostly monotonus without many deviations, though he does have a very bright orangish bronze splash across his back and back of his neck. These are the only markings he has.

Personality

Tigger is brave and brash, often scolds people for getting in his way and he has no real fear of anything except the big gold dragons. He enjoys flittering about children and teases them with games of chase. Like Dandi, Tigger enjoys swimming and sunning on the beaches of Ista.
