** FAMILY RANKS ** Please keep in mind that Weyrbrats are bred (usually) from dragonriders and Lower Cavern folk; they are not craft educated and generally have an abundance of half-siblings. Stolen Crafters are almost always going to be the eldest or second eldest son that was of a well to-do family in order to pay for their Education. Almost no dragonriders EXCLUDING Katilan Impressed will have a Craft education. A detailed explanation will be needed for those that are. Only one in a blue moon women are passed on to the Craft Halls, and those that are very rarely make it beyond Sr. Apprentice, even in women friendly crafts. Please remember that it is YOUR character that is allowed to be special, not the entire family!

Siblings:
Pern has a high infant mortality rate. Keep this in mind. Most families will produce 4-6 children, of which maybe half will make it to adulthood. Most Pernese die between 50 and 70 if they hold ranking or 'cushy' positions in life. Low ranking peasants and the like are more inclined to die in their late 40's due to the harsher lifestyle they lived. Dragonriders average about 100 years, and have a slowed rate of aging. A LOT of women die in childbirth, especially with their first child, or if they are old and still falling pregnant. It is considered a sin for Hold and Hall women to abort, and even Weyr women are frowned upon, as all children are needed.

Past Lovers/Partners: Only important ones are required.
Current Lovers/Partners: If Applicable.
Children: Almost all characters over the age of 18 that are not virgins should have at least one child. With a good explanation, we will be hesitant to accept any character over the age of 25 that has NOT got at least one child running around somewhere. Holderfolk are often married by the time they are 18, and Weyrfolk often flight moth. Children are not required to be RP'd, or even acknowledged during RP. We simply heavily encourage your character to have contributed to the population at some point.

Name Pronounced: Call-ekk-eth

Wing Assigned: See the Wing Listing for current assignments. Put the wing you would most like to join in.
Wing Rank: Wingrider, unless otherwise approved by the Team

Birthing Weyr: Katila Weyr
Home Weyr:
Clutch Name: Have Faith
Clutch Mother: Gold Okalinath
Clutch Father:
Key Word: Nonesense
Egg Name: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bo
Egg Description:This egg is dramatically lop sided, and coloured a dull cream. It has a streak of darkened cream down one side that looks like a snotty nose was wiped on it.
Appearance:
Length: 33.7’
Height: 16.85’
Wingspan: 53.2’
Scars & Markings: A few scrapes and scars from flights
Weyrlinghood: A fairly uniform russet hide wraps this dragon’s body, with a patch of dark chocolate seeming to form a cape over his shoulders. He will show signs of being a well muscled brown from the first, giving the impression of a large dragon in a small package. His longer than average tail will aid him in ground maneuvers and he will show a bit more maneuverability and flexibility than most browns do. That will carry over into the air and while some large blues will be able to rival him for sheer stamina, he will be able to out maneuver most other browns and all the bronzes.
It will be noted in weyrlinghood that this dragon gains weight very easily and he will tend towards fat if he is allowed to gorge. Exercise and lots of it will help, though keeping him from getting gat will be a challenge for his rider and he will never be a svelte brown.
Adulthood: He will stay a fairly compact brown, and still give the impression of being 7 pounds of potatoes in a five pound bag, so to speak as an adult. His tail will stay longer than average, and his wingsize being a hair larger than it should be for his size will aid in the impression of him being too big for his body.
In color, he will retain his russet base color, with it being a hair redder brighter than his baby colors were. Patches of cinnamon will adorn his hide as well, those darker patches seeming to blend into his base color in most lights. He will gain spots on his wing tips, rump, shoulder and nose in the colors of wet beach sand, these standing out starkly against his hide.
Mindvoice: For all his size and strength, Kaliqueth’s mind voice is slightly squeaky, much like a youngster who hasn’t gone through puberty. There are a few times when it deepens to become rich and mellow, but more often than not it matches his personality in its wistfulness.
General Character Traits: This dragon’s thoughts and mind seem insubstantial at first, fluff held together with seafoam and moonlight. When they do formulate into something more, they seem almost whimsical and dreamy. He is the one to say odd things, like that the finest firelizard eggs are found under the light of the full moon, or do odd things like decide for a week he will only eat herdbeasts with no black fur. As abruptly as he decided these things, they will be let go and only his rider will know if he is in earnest and truly believes these things or if he is simply enjoying being the class eccentric.
Tending towards viewing the world through rose colored glasses makes him a bit on the gullible side. He tends to believe what he’s told, and the only thing that can make him not believe it is his rider’s contradiction. He trusts everyone but trusts his rider the most.
Habits/Mannerisms: Please include at least one habit or mannerism that the character has. This could be anything from lip biting, to eye rolling or foot tapping. It should come with at least one full sentence.
Likes: Change the word 'like 1' through 'like 3' into the thing the character likes, following thereafter with an explanation about why they like it. It should be at least one cohesive sentence for each one.
Sand:
Sand: He likes sand. He likes blowing it around. He likes making prints and other designs in it. He like building piles with it. He likes rolling in it. He loves sand! Firelizards:
Kaliqueth likes firelizards. He views them in the same light that Ironth does. They are precious little beasts and he would like one of his ownL’ton:
He, of course, adores his rider. L’ton can do no wrong in Kaliqueth’s eyes and he loves the man more for his ever present patience with the whimsical dragon.
Dislikes: Change the word 'dislike 1' through 'dislike 3' into the thing the character dislikes, following there after with an explanation about why they dislike it. It should be at least one cohesive sentence for each one.

RP Sample
a lyrical subheading
This is required for ALL characters, regardless of if they are your first or twenty-th. RP Sample must use the character described in the profile above and be an indication of your average posting size and style.
Please do not use NPCs, as we feel bad telling you that you will need to rewrite when you do so.
The best way to do this is to use it as a Thread Starter for your character, then you can post it upon acceptance and jump right into RPing!
