Kahleena flashed a brief smirk as Rhaedalyn nodded her agreement, before managing to swallow the expression. She wriggled to get up, brushing her hair back casually with breathy little giggles between smiles and deep inhales. Her tummy hurt from laughing, and her mouth hurt from smiling so much! Kahleena wriggled happily, settling the material of her pants back down and brushing leaves from her hair.
It was all so inelegant and unladylike! She giggled again, rejoicing in the simple silliness that the day had become as she watched Rhaedalyn play up the airs of relaxing back into normalcy… Or maybe she had misunderstood Kahleena’s hint? The girl blinked, frowning slightly to herself as she nibbled on a piece of fruit, pouting slightly at the missed opportunity and unwilling to be the instigator herself. That would be terribly bold! Oh, you are ridiculous!
Fun was fun, because it was enjoyable! One didn’t need to be bold to have fun! One just needed to be willing to enjoy themselves! Okalinath shook her head to herself as she pounced on Xyreith once more, sprawling across the indignant bronze dragon, who ended up with one wing tucked in close and the other extended. Okalinath rested her paws over the top of his head, and her chin upon them, chittering cheerfully to herself. Rhaedalyn knows how to have fun! Okalinath put in, her voice convoying the smirk she couldn’t display, as the young woman flung herself onto R’nya.
A squeal of shocked delight tore free of Kahleena as she sat in shocked surprise, totally taken unawares by her friend’s actions – even though she had been the one to come up with the idea! – and it took her a few moments before Kahleena had gathered enough wits about her to copy her friend, crawling inelegantly over the mussed up picnic rug to scrabble over the wriggling legs of R’nya, sitting on them firmly and giggling evilly when she was prompted by Okalinath to tickle the man behind the knees. The reward of extra attempts to escape only spurred the girl on, thrilling in the silly game, and the way R’nya was trying so hard not to laugh outright.
Unable to see the bronzerider, and not warned by her dragon, Kahleena was taken quite by surprise when R’nya suddenly bucked them both off, the young goldrider shrieking with her shock, the sound riddled with laughter as she scrabbled to catch herself lest she eat the ground, spluttering in amusement. Righting herself, Kahleena perched delicately on her knees and blinked at R’nya. What? Okalinath giggled in the back of her mind as Kahleena crept closer, inching behind Rhaedalyn.
Still eyeing R’nya sceptically, Kahleena crept around to wriggle in amongst the firelizards, still frowning. A soft laugh came free at Rhaedalyn’s comment, and Kahleena picked up a leaf off her own clothing, twirling it by the stem between forefinger and thumb. Her expression was mirthful though she didn’t add any particular commentary as R’nya wriggled under Rhaedalyn’s sweeping gesture. Giggling, Kahleena picked up Muffin, cuddling him to her chest and tickling his nose with the leaf.
