While R’nya would have been inclined to play along with Kahleena’s game of sweet innocence, he was given no chance as Xyreith was suddenly throwing a tantrum, Kahleena was dying of horror, and Rhaedalyn was squealing and confused. R’nya resisted the urge to rub at his temples, and instead watched Kahleena withdraw in on herself with an amused arch of the eyebrow, not at all worried by the actions her dragon had taken, and pointedly ignoring Xyreith’s bad manners and filthy language. Where his bronze had picked up those phrases, R’nya did not want to know.
“It is fine, Kahl– ” R’nya fell off, as the girl suddenly asked a question born on a desperate breath; Rhaedalyn’s response to Khaleena’s question only further amused R’nya, who took the opportunity to step past the two scandalised women and continue walking so they wouldn’t see the laughing smile that flickered over his lips. “Of course I can,” he added vaguely, though he made no effort at all to prove his statement. An eyebrow arching on his now under control features, R’nya held up an arm invitingly to Muffin, encouraging the creature to land on it.
… If you skip for them… Xyreith’s voice was low, and full of threat as he glared balefully at Okalinath, who was completely unfazed by the bronze dragon’s grumpy mood.
Do not be silly, Xyreith. They have not begged nearly enough. Amusement was clear in R’nya’s tone, and Xyreith grumbled under his breath; then hissed at Okalinath when she began her game of stalking him once more. R’nya ignored him, turning around to study the two women with upraised eyebrows. “There are flowers over there.” And he pointed lightly toward a rather large tree, and a scattering of wild flowers that were surrounding its base. He was quite sure that would be enough to side track them – for now – but he had no doubt they’d be after him to skip and unlikely to let the matter rest until the day it happened.
That was okay. R’nya was stubborn too.
