The gentle touch and the change in breathing had a light frown tugging B’jin’s eyebrows together above his still closed eyes. He was losing his touch of waking and dashing away before his lover did, and the gentle touch was definitely not that of someone who was going to let him get away unscathed! The tension that was coiling in the greenrider’s body came to a sudden stop, and spiralled away when R’nd’s voice was recognised, B’jin feeling foolish for not recognising his lover’s touch, turned his head to flash the other man a bright smile, brown eyes lighting up with delight. “Hello!” Despite the enthusiasm in the single word, B’jin took care to speak lowly, humming happily as R’nd seemed determined to keep him distracted.
“We did!” B’jin agreed, grinning charmingly as he wriggled away from R’nd and his eager nibbles, enough to roll over and face his lover, throwing himself into an awkward hug as he clung to him. “Wonderful bluerider!” B’jin purred, leaning in for a lingering kiss before pulling back, still radiating pure delight at the situation. Thank you! B’jin wasn’t even sure which of the two dragons the comment was aimed at, but didn’t feel it really mattered! It was ever so nice to finally end up with someone worth waking up with! Larrikith rumbled in amused pleasure, enjoying her human’s rare positive response to a flight.
A chagrin expression replaced the otherwise overjoyed air rolling off B’jin as his fingers, which had begun wandering, discovered the scratches on his lover’s arm. Leaning up on an elbow, B’jin frowned at them for a moment before dropping back down and giving R’nd an apologetic look, tinged with a whisper of amusement, “Sorry, love.” He traced lightly over the scratches, barely touching, before letting his hand wander once more, his touch not really sexual or inviting; it simply was. Brown eyes were still bright, dancing with the delight of his good fortune, and the smile not quite willing to leave his face, though it wasn’t overly obvious.
“You’ve been slack, my love,” B’jin teased, giving R’nd a sly look from under his lashes as his cheerful smile was tainted slightly by mischief. “Making us wait two flights,” the ‘us’ was left ambiguous; whether it was in reference to Larrikith, or to R’nd himself, was up for the bluerider to decide. B’jin enjoyed the not-relationship he held with the bluerider outside of flights, and while he still wasn’t sure why the younger man seemed to keep coming back to him, B’jin wasn’t really going to start asking questions now! That didn’t stop him being far more pleased with his mischievous green dragon’s flights when they resulted in waking up with his delightfully wonderful lover!
