B'jin had... No idea at all how to respond to that, twisting slightly to stare at Talian in surprise at the young man's soft words. He could tell by the gentle expression and the soft, purring tone that Talian was being genuine in what he was saying, but it still made B'jin's blood run cold deep in his veins and a shiver strode down his spine with fingers of ice. "Good." What more could he say? Was there anything else to say to a statement such as that? B'jin leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on Talian's forehead, toppling back over onto his own back in a fluid motion there after.
Deciding to mash topics, B'jin looked sideways at Talian with an expression that was distinctly trouble, a wicked little smirk twisting the greenrider's lips as he arched an eyebrow, letting Talian observe his expression for a little while before actually revealing what was calling it. B'jin didn't get to be naughty and have fun very often, so the times he did, he thoroughly enjoyed making his companion squirm. R'nd was a delightful subject, though he was starting to get to the point where he squirmed less and actively invited B'jin to act upon it... and the greenrider would be lying (something he was not known for) if he said he didn't enjoy that reaction just as much!
"Amorandii will be crushed," he was teasing Talian, and the way his lips were twitching belied the effort he was putting into keeping a mostly straight face. "She wants to be just like you," B'jin purred, laughter in his voice now as he settled into teasing the far too serious little healer. "Saving the world form unjust injury, bringing dead people back to life," B'jin's smirk was wicked now, and blatantly told Talian he was behind Amorandii's rather vividly coloured ideas of what her healer-idol got up to on a daily basis. B'jin thought it was adorable, the way his daughter told anyone that would listen that Talian was her Healer-Brother. He was still waiting to see if she'd drop the 'brother' part in exchange for marrying her idol, or if she'd just marry him anyway. Considering it was Amorandii, he was pretty sure Talian would have little say. The child was terribly clever when it came to getting what she wanted, when she wanted, how she wanted.
Just be thankful she's not interested in dragons. Larrikith said mildly, her voice audible to both the lazing men as she shifted her gaze to look at them seriously. B'jin's expression sobered, the cheerful and playful smirk sliding away to be replaced by a worried frown. "Indeed," he murmured dryly, well aware that he'd fight even S'kef - physically, if need be - to prevent his precious little girl from being put on the Sands. But how could he fight her desire? He would give her anything, but a dragon was not part of that deal. He would not see his beautiful baby girl marred by the harsh lifestyle of being a dragonrider.
"I would much rather see her married off and far from any baby dragons. Would that I could get you both away from such worry." While he wasn't looking at Talian - instead, he was scowling at the sky - it was clear B'jin was also speaking of the young man beside him alongside his baby girl. Indamor would make a fine dragonrider, and both he and Larrikith were quite sure he'd make bronze - brown at least, but surely bronze! - and so, he would be fine. But Amorandii and Talian? B'jin shuddered to think what the dragonrider lifestyle would do to his adopted son and his precious little princess.
