Grith squealed shrilly when she heard Larrikith's acidic voice. While Larrikith may have been expressing her disgust at the paint, Grith didn't hear it that way. The perceived insult stung her like threadscore, to which she responded to with a hiss at the cynical Green. Spinning on her wingtip she headed back in the direction they had come from.
It wasn't long before being alone lost its shine to Grith, no more than six wing beats. Craning her neck around she peered at where the other two dragons were diving, watching for a moment. Shifting her wings slightly she rose on a current and turned to face them. Bored with just plain flying she picked out a location closer to Larrikith and Ronarth, winking between instantly.
When she reappeared she was several meters above and to the side of Ronarth. A vicious air current ripped across her wing as she tilted to fly away from him, catching her off guard. It bent forward at what was clearly not a normal position and she let out a pained roar. Instinctively she snapped her wing shut against her body, causing her to fall awkwardly as she tried to slow her descent with one wing. The winds carried her closer to the Bronze, despite her best efforts to stay straight.
