Try as she might, Par’a always knew in the back of her mind that she could never truly control Grith. While they might be co-dependent on each other, there was always a part of Grith that was never under her control. Now, as profound and mysterious as that sounded, that part was well...
LARRIKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH!
Grith’s shout was loud and piercing, definitely cause for irritation in even the most sweet-mannered dragon or human. Her dark hide shot into the sky like a cannonball from within the Gather Square, fresh paint streaking down it as it attempted to dry. By the time she stopped and had made her way over to the mountains where Ronarth and Larrikith were perched, it looked like someone had run up and down her with different paints. The painstaking designs the weyrbrats had painted on were long lost beneath the smeared colours, but she almost literally glowed with pride regardless.
Larrikith Larrikith Larrikith LARRIKITH! Grith landed on the mountain somewhat like a terran bat, clambering across the surface in the most peculiar fashion. Brittle pieces of the mountain crumbled and fell beneath her as she clutched wildly at it, shuffling across to where the other two dragons were perched. As always, she focused solely on Larrikith, blatantly ignoring the shining Bronze beside her. When she reached the fellow Green she peered up at her with bright green eyes that whirled almost dizzyingly fast. Trilling she bobbed her head up and down, still clinging to the side of the mountain. No doubt both herself and Ronarth looked quite amusing beside the composedly perched Larrikith.
