Technically this was what Rhamnus had wanted, though that didn't mean he had to be happy with it. Others were tending to the body, shame that, such a senseless loss. For now he had a boy that had been knocked over and clawed up a bit sitting on his table while he got him bandaged up. That he could at least focus on, though he did have to initially shoo Ulliendis off to the side. But then there was a crash at the back of his knees, almost sending him buckling to the ground but he caught the table and whirled around to shoot a glare. "Shoo!"
At least it apologized... he thought. Though it was still like dealing with a treacherous toddler who didn't know how quite to stay out of the way. At least the tail was easier to ignore as he finished getting his patient bandaged up. Once he was done he gave the new weyrling a pat on an uninjured part of himself. "Now go on and get your blue out of my way."
He still managed to trip on a tail as the blue finally crawled out from under his table to slink off with his boy. Rham once again caught himself on the table, grumbling before straightening up and getting his station cleaned up. At least it would be over soon, and then he could go take a bath and get cleaned up, then go find T'drin and-
There was a nudge at his hand that he waved off with a grumbling, "Busy." There was another, harder nudge at his hand and he scowled, turning as there was a soft sound. "What?!"
You have helpers to clean that up, Rh'us. Rham, staggered backwards, tripping again but this time tumbling to sit on the sands as he stared at the little bronze. "Wha..." I am hungry and you are very tired. Someone else can clean it up. You can rest now. Now that Hispidath mentioned it, Rham realized he was actually quite exhausted, and maybe he had been keeping himself a bit too busy lately. And he was starving too, and that was a hard thing to ignore even as his head still reeled. "Yes... you're right. Come on then."
He climbed back to his feet, the sturdy bronze moving to give him something to brace himself on, before he turned to point at a drudge. "You, get this cleaned up. And keep my tools together, I'll be back for them."
